About Shane Lowe

Born and raised in Louisville Kentucky, and after realizing that he didn’t have a knack for horses or the banjo, Shane began pursuing drums and percussion at the age of eight. He studied under a trio of renowned drummers for a decade before branching out to develop his own sound, and primarily focuses on playing rock, Latin, and Jazz fusion today. Shane is currently the percussionist and musical director for Precious Perez, as well as the bands “Midair Decision” and “The Blues Pilots.” Shane has arranged concerts at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C, and the Lincoln Center in New York.
On the side, he regularly performs with various ensembles, and has worked with musicians in a variety of styles at the Berklee College of Music. He is always learning.
Since the pandemic, Shane has dedicated himself to directing and performing virtual concerts. He coordinated and hosted the “Supersense Presents Live” event featuring world-renowned guitarist Andy Timmons, continues to arrange numerous live jam sessions for artists to collaborate, and plays an array of solo gigs in addition to his collaborative work.
Shane has spent a significant amount of time as a music journalist. On prior projects, Shane has worked with artists such as Bad Wolves, Papa Roach, and Sonic Discretion.
