About Project Butterfly

Project Butterfly is a testament to the transformative power of creativity, resilience, and perseverance. As a producer, composer, lyricist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, and disabled artist, her journey is nothing short of extraordinary. With a career spanning over 45 years—including two decades as an nointernationally recognized DJ and producer—she has performed in numerous bands and carved out a unique space in the music world.

In addition to her work as a performer, Project Butterfly has made significant contributions behind the scenes as a booking agent, promoter, A&R representative, and executive producer. After completing her Doctorate in Liberal Arts/Music, she adopted the moniker Project Butterfly, signaling a powerful new chapter in her creative evolution.

Since signing her first label in 2022, she has released a consistent stream of music celebrated for her genre-defying compositions and innovative soundscapes. Her work reveals a deep understanding of the emotional and rhythmic alchemy that makes music unforgettable—tracks that move both body and soul. Project Butterfly is widely recognized as a trailblazing artist in the music industry. Her work spans a vast variety of electronic, non-electronic genres, and she also composes cinematic scores.

In 2025, Project Butterfly was diagnosed with SCI/D , along with additional spinal complications, polyneuropathy, and several additional chronic illnesses. As a cancer survivor, chronic pain patient and relentless warrior, she continues to create and inspire despite immense medical challenges.

Project Butterfly is a passionate advocate for human rights and serves as a member advocate for the United Spinal Association, LGBTQIA + communities and musicians with disabilities. Her advocacy and humanitarian efforts reach far and wide.

Her music resonates worldwide, with placements across international radio, festivals, runway shows, background scores, and synchronization projects.
