About Marco "Jhny Wzdm" Herrera

Marco "Jhny Wzdm" Herrera is a Los Angeles-based music business expert, producer, and mentor. As a first-generation individual born to immigrant parents, he was drawn to music—a fusion of hip-hop, R&B, gangster rap, and metal—from a young age.

He "dug an access tunnel" to the music industry by teaching himself the necessary skills to be self-sufficient as an independent artist, solving every dilemma like a "miner in the Gold Rush." This journey inadvertently transformed him into a music business expert.

He is currently a volunteer music educator at Hopeless Music Academy as well as the west coast distribution lead for Hisong (a music hardware developer), he quarterbacks activations like Music Business Camps, Mindset Development, and song/album creation, helping artists to be self-sufficient in the ecosystem.

Jhny Wzdm is a passionate advocate for Mental Health Advocacy, a cause close to his heart following the passing of his youngest brother. He established the "222" Award to honor his late brother's memory, acknowledging recipients for their relentless drive. He believes in creating opportunities where they don't seem to exist. He is also the producer and mentor for the artist YESLA.
