About Joanne Mule

Joanne Mulé, also known by the artist name Joanne Louise, is a jazz composer who released her first jazz EP, "Hello, World" in 2021. She has since released 9 other singles.

She is owner of Hello World Studios and composes music for film and TV. Her first feature score, "Vision Beyond Sight-The Hiedi Covey Story" debuted in April of 2026 at The Parkway Theater and Lounge in Pittsburgh this past April to sold out theater and will have a second screening. She has also composed for The EasterSeals Disability Film Challenge, The 48 Hour Film Challenge and is working on several other films.

Her music career started when she was a child, taking piano lessons, singing in church choirs, and later acting as Principal Cantor for her church.

She graduated from Pittsburgh's Creative and Performing Arts High School(CAPA High) and majored in voice and music composition. She graduated High Honors and 10th in her class of 250.

She the attended the now closed UArts Philadelphia, where she continued her studies in voice and music composition. She was one of a few selected vocalists to be chosen for Chamber Choir, became fluent at accapella chorus and sang The Mozart Requem, performed in The Marriage of Figgaro, and was chosen to portray Mozart himself as an actress.

Half way through the semester, she discovered she had Epilepsy caused by Paraventricular Leukomalicia(PVL), a brain hemorrhage from birth and brain damage. Her seizures are sensory and can be triggered by sensory events. This diagnosis put her music career on hold and she did not return to UArts. She did, however, continue with her music career, singing in Atlantic City and continuing to develop as a musician.

Today, she is not only a composer, but an audio engineer, stagehand, and live events professional, working with IATSE and major acts like Elton John, P!NK and Post Malone. She will continue to release new music and working on a new album.
