About Isobel

I began working in music PR almost ten years ago when I joined Whiteboard PR. I had the pleasure of working with many amazing artists and loved every second of it. After 4 or 5 years gaining experience, I began building my own roster which gave me a chance to be more hands on in running press campaigns and devising release strategies.

In July '24 I left Whiteboard to start my own independent PR company; 'Laydown PR'. The main motivator for my new venture is to create an inclusive, accessible and approachable space in the music industry. I have navigated chronic illness for most my life and in more recent years I have become a wheelchair user. I'm eager to fuse my passion for disability advocacy with my career in the music industry, with the hope to create more opportunities for disabled and neurodivergent artists. Laydown PR is proud to be a disabled founded company and although we are just getting started, we are full of ideas and good vibes to contribute towards the positive progression of the industry.

I am based in London where I live with my girlfriend and my chihuahua Johnathan (it's essential to mention him).
