About Indi

Indi Robinson is a deaf actress who is changing the way music is understood and experienced by incorporating American Sign Language expressive artistry. She has built a large online following by interpreting music and translating songs into ASL.

A former dancer, Indi was a member of the Philly Phresh Crew in Philadelphia, where she became the team’s first deaf performer. Her performances included notable televised events with the Philadelphia 76ers, Harlem Globetrotters, Ice Cube’s Big3, and various college games.

Indi was cast as Marzelline in Fidelio, directed by Deaf West Theater in partnership with the LA Philharmonic, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, and led by directors Alberto and Joaquín Solano.

Indi was also seen in a Nickelodeon commercial for Disability Pride Month, worked as a model for the Knix undergarment line with Ashley Graham, and worked with Lachi for the series of “Mad Different” songs with Amazon Music Studios as a part of the Lachi Crew.
