About Casey Litter
Casey hails from Chicago, IL where he began his musical career training on the drums from former "Chi-Lites" drummer Tony Dale a.k.a (Bible Black). Following the traditional guidance in the styles of Buddy Rich and Keith Moon he took the time and rhythm and started playing the guitar in the same manner. By the age of 12 he was street performing with his father downtown in "The Loop" and learned how to improvise and freestyle with a variety of musicians and performers. Songwriting took number one priority around the same time of getting diagnosed with severe AD-HD and depression. Years of struggling and self-medicating were overshadowed by the music, and he succeeded in emerging from the jaded rock scene into the professional studio world and moved west. After arriving in L.A he earned a residency at the famous Canter's Kibbitz Room, broke past the "pay-to-play" contracts at The Whisky A-Go Go, and founded the native-american owned Koona Wobe Records. After landing music in films and skateboarding videos he started a family and found sobriety. With native history fading his focus is now shifted back to the reservations and raising awareness on the conditions of life of the residents. As an enrolled member of the Gidutikad Paiute Nation he is bringing positive values and clean events to different reservations across the country and soon other countries. His mission is to connect the youth with support and safety while gathering any resource possible to create healthy ways of living that can be passed onto the next generations.Professional Memberships
