About Andrea Jennings

Andrea Jennings, M.M. has a master of music from Frost School of Music, University of Miami and works at the intersection of social justice and entertainment as she advocates for social justice through the lens of disability and pop culture, film, music, and art. She is a Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) member, RAMPD Pro Member and a MusiCares Ambassador. She was a featured performance poetess for The Anti-Eugenics Project - Legacies/Reckoning/Future -Dismantling Eugenics - A Convening founded by Dr. Jack Tchen (Rutgers University and Benedict Ipgrave (University College London). She is the CEO/Founder of multimedia social enterprise and production company Shifting Creative Paradigms-Leveling the Playing Field which produces the music series Disability Joy Suite. Andrea is also an Entertainment Strategist & Consultant focusing on Disability, Access, Disability Joy, Welbeing and Belonging; She is a Director, Producer, Impact Producer, Performance Poetess/Lyricist, Film Curator. She is Chair Emiritus for the City of Pasadena's Accessibility and Disability Commission and current commissioner. She is an On-Air Host and Producer for TV Series "Access for All: Integrating Accessibility" which she highlights disabled leaders including disabled musicians airs on Spectrum Channel 32, AT&T U-verse Channel 99 and streams on OTT channels Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV and YouTube. Her single "Be the Light is a spoken word piece that speaks to other advocates from the forthcoming EP Golden Hour is out on major platforms.

Andrea Jennings' love for music, law, and entertainment, was encouraged by her mom who worked at top law firms advocating which led her to obtain a master in music, music busness and entertainement Industries to learn more about strategic ways to support and promote artists. She founded Shifting Creative Paradigms -Leveling the Playing Field Entertainment and Productions to create equitable and universally designed creative spaces in the entertainment industry.
