Diane Kolin (She/her)

Vocalist, Musicology 
 

Diane is an incredible vocalist, voice teacher, and music educator whose work spans continents and genres. A member of both RAMPD and the Recording Academy, she brings bold artistry, deep knowledge, and unstoppable dedication to everything she does.

With a rich, low vocal range, Diane performs across North America and Europe in styles from jazz to Baroque to French chanson. She teaches voice to students of all ages and is currently completing her PhD in musicology at York University. Her dissertation focuses on professional musicians and composers with disabilities—breaking new ground in inclusive music research.

Diane is also the founder of ArtsAbly, a platform offering workshops, lectures, free resources, and the podcast ArtsAbly in Conversation, where she interviews disabled artists—including many RAMPD Pro members. Diane is shaping the future of accessible music, and we’re proud to spotlight her this month!
